After two years learning the language in Murcia, Spain, we relocated to Torrent, Valencia. We began a new work in October of 2013 with the help of one other family. Since that time, the church has grown and thrived. In October 2023, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of IBBT with the dedication of the new building.
God has done an amazing work here in Torrent, Spain. As of May 2024, the church is running 90+ on Sunday morning with the majority of these coming to Sunday School as well and 40+ to the Sunday evening service.
In 2020, IBBT sponsored a new church plant in the city of Villarreal and in 2022 a man from our church was ordained and sent to pastor that work. It is a growing work supported by our church and guided by the leadership of Arnold and the deacons of IBBT.
We have also sponsored other missionaries to Spain who plan to start a new work in a northern suburb of Valencia.

These are the glass doors at the entrance. Inside you can see Arnold talking with the owner, Carmen, and her son, Nestor. The floor in the foreground is the permanent tile and the dark flooring is a temporary wood flooring that was placed over the tile to protect it.
Excited about the great location God has provided and looking forward to the work ahead so that we can begin holding services at the Iglesia Bautista Biblica de Torrent!
